My name is Gene Ragulsky and I am the owner of
X-Spot Outfitters. I have over 30 years
experience hunting waterfowl, turkey and other
game, and like most of you, it is my passion. I am
currently a member of Mossy Oaks, pro staff.
Being a full time law enforcement officer, I do not
have a lot of spare time. However, during hunting
season I use every spare minute that I am not with
my wonderful family hunting. I have used some of
that time on guided hunts, all of which have been
wonderful experiences. The only thing I wanted to
change with any of those hunts was to make it a
little more affordable for the average hunter. That
is part of the driving force that helped me create
X-Spot Outfitters.

not break the bank! With that, I have no minimum number of hunters. If you can't
find anyone else that wants to come with you, that's fine. That just mean that it will
take us a little longer to put out the decoys. The maximum number of hunters for
me would be 4 per day. That will allow me to give everyone the attention they are
paying for.
Through the years, I have been able to gain access to some of Southeastern
Colorado's fantastic dove, duck, goose, turkey and deer hunting. And with the
support of my family, after becoming licensed, bonded and insured, I have decided
to venture out into the world of guiding.
All of the properties I have access to are leased by me, or I have sole permission.
This allows me to provide a very enjoyable hunt with no extra pressure on the
game. As the name of my business implies, I am going to do everything I can to
put you where the birds or animals want to be; on the "X".
